Phoenix Child Centre is committed to protecting the health and safety of our children, their families, staff and community partners during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our response and actions are based on recommendations from Toronto Public Health, Ministry of Health, Health Canada, City of Toronto Children’s Services and the Ministry of Education as well as other relevant authorities.

While infection mitigation has always been an integral part of Phoenix Child Centre’s culture, COVID-19 presents new challenges. We remain committed to meeting these challenges. We have adapted and enhanced some existing polices and created new policies specific to COVID-19.
